Scholarship Information Sessions

The national scholarship information sessions are an excellent introduction to the scholarship application process. These sessions provide students with an overview of the more competitive awards and the resources to locate other awards specific to their interests or areas of study. Students will learn how to compile a competitive application, as well as when to begin compiling it (it's earlier than you might think). This session can help students decide if applying for a national scholarship is the right choice for them, and is mandatory for students interested in schedule an individual follow-up meeting to discuss a student's plans, goals, and strengths after attending a general information session.

Information sessions are held in room 1229 in the Cathedral of Learning. (To access this room, you must enter room 1228.) They typically last one hour and are held every other Thursday at 1:00 PM. If you plan on attending the session on a particular date, please send an e-mail to register. Students are advised to review the contents of this website, particularly the information about seeking letters of recommendation, before coming to a session. Please check our calendar to confirm the date of a specific information session, and send an e-mail if you have any questions.
